Am I Free or Am I Tied Up?

Woke up at 9am on a Sunday morning on my own for 2 hours of adventure at Skytrex Adventure in the National Botanical Garden, Shah Alam. This, I can wake up for but not 3 hours of church.

Look who's back from Korea! It was so nice to see the familiar blue mercedes outside my house.

Gathered in Subang, and left for Shah Alam in two cars. Plan was, we meet at tbs at 9am then fetch the USJ peeps; Ab & I. Like every other Malaysias, we were all late.

We got lost, made illegal turnings, were horned at multiple times, took countless U-turns and going on the same road twice hoping to get it right the second time round.

The special girl. This whole thing was planned out for her in the first place by her boyfriend, Benny since it was her birthday the next day.

Green, tall trees everywhere. Our slot the we booked for was at 10pm but we arrived an hour later. Haha.

Paid RM3 entrance fee before entering the park and waited for the bus for about 15 - 20minutes which felt like 30. Pure agony. Firstly, we were almost 2 hours late and we weren't sure what would happend. Secondly, we were all hungry.

The bicycle shed which looks like a kandang kambing. This is were you collect the bikes for rent.

Boarded the bus thinking we were finally going for Skytrex but we ended up having to wait for another 5minutes or so before the bus left. That Su Juin decided to go buy some food just when the bus was about to leave.

Just to get used to things before the real thing

We each paid RM45 to go on the Extreme Challenge

This new circuit is the latest addition to the park and boasts 21 extreme challenges with some platforms reaching the height of 22 meters. Extreme Challenge open its door to its 1st batch of customers on 23rd May 2009!

Time to complete: Approximately 2 - 3 hours
Minimum height requirement: 1.4 m
Maximum weight: 100 kg

This was when I was stuck in mid-air during the flying fox. Ab said it was because my body weight was too light. Pfft.

It started raining right after we completed the course

After stopping by Juin's aunts place to have some cake and also to visit her parents in Cheras, we all brought our sticky and stinky selves to a nearby Steamboat restaurant and had our breakfast, lunch and dinner at 5pm. Not to mention that, it was all paid for by Juin's parents as her birthday treat (:

This was one healthy and different but still awesome birthday plan I've had since my teen years. Who said birthdays cannot be fun without alcohol?
