MSSD on Friday was good. We were told that our event was after 10am. And then we checked the timetable and we estimated it to be around 1130am. So we waited, warmed up, got all nervous and still they haven't announced the 'Panggilan Kedua' to report ourselves (we ignored the first panggilan on purporse). Wait wait wait, by that time we already cooled down. And we still had time to eat & digest our lunch. While waiting I kept texting Andrew to calm my nerves. Fecking 20sens/text to Brunei. And we finally ran at friggin 3pm. Damn cibai nervous wei. Su Yin, Pui Yee, Samantha, Yunsin (in our relay order). Being the last runner the pressure was all on me at the end. Sam caught up to 2nd place and I maintained all the way until the last 50m that girl cut me. I was trying to sprint like hell but GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!. We got third so I guess it was okay.
The worse was after the run lo. As it was my 2nd day of my period. Fucking period cramps attacked me like I was in hell. Cramp abit abit in the morning and it was all fine before the run. Damn shit la. I was lying down on the bench hurling in agony. Head on Pui's jacket, hands on my stomach, trying not to contract my stomach when I breathe and I had a big blister on my big toe. Damn crap la. But all when well when I heard the announcer saying the schools that made into the finals for 4x400m P1 and we were one of them! At first I wanted to pull out. So yeah. The four of us went to relax (i was walking around wearing an over sized slippers, thanks to francis) and had plans to go back to school early. Then suddenly Tana asked us to just finish in our finals. So we went and ran. We know we couldn't be in the top 3 so we tried our best and aimed for 2nd last. In the end, We got 5th , 3rd last. Somehow, I knew I would have ran better. Damn blister.
